Belinda specialises in commercial law, particularly in the areas of technology and intellectual property.

Belinda has extensive experience in negotiating, drafting and advising on various commercial agreements, including technology acquisition, development and sale, e-commerce, Internet and website transactions as well as software and IT systems licensing, both on a national and international basis.

She has undertaken advisory work in respect of a wide range of commercial issues, including advising on structuring of transactions, fair trading issues, consumer protection legislation and privacy laws. Belinda also has experience in managing trade mark portfolios.

Before joining A J Park in 2006, Belinda was in-house legal counsel for a large telecommunications company. She also spent four years in London working as an associate in the telecommunications, IP/IT and commercial practice groups of a large international law firm. Before that, Belinda worked as a commercial lawyer for a leading New Zealand commercial law firm.
