Legal Secretary Auckland
AJ Park is New Zealand’s largest intellectual property (IP) law firm. We help companies and individuals identify, develop, protect, commercialise, manage and enforce their IP rights in New Zealand, Australia and throughout the world. Our clients range from entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs, to government institutions, multinationals and major listed companies across 130 countries.
We’re looking for a smart person with a minimum of 3-4 years’ administrative or secretarial experience to join our patents team assisting a senior lawyer/attorney. Legal experience is preferable, however, full training will be given to the successful candidate.
The work is varied, interesting and challenging. You will get to expand your knowledge in IP, learn what’s happening in the world of technology and innovation, and gain valuable skills.
If you take pride in your professional approach to work, enjoy using your initiative, demonstrate excellent organisational skills and have a high attention to detail, this could be your next career move.
AJ Park has an enviable reputation in the market and is a great place to work. We have a strong people-focused culture and have recently been named in NZ Lawyer’s inaugural Employer of Choice report listing the 25 top-ranking legal organisations in New Zealand in terms of overall employee experience. We were also a finalist in the ‘Employer of Choice’ category of the New Zealand Law Awards 2019.
