We do this by, for example, talking with clients and advising them on patent filing and protection strategies for their IP in Australia, New Zealand and worldwide, and by drafting patent specifications for a wide range of inventions.

  • A good eye for detail and an analytical and meticulous approach to your work

  • We welcome applications from recent graduates and those partway through a postgraduate qualification, but we also encourage researchers who are looking to move out of the lab to apply.

You will join an acclaimed firm awarded ‘Specialist IP Firm of the Year’ in the New Zealand Law Awards eight times since 2013 and most recently in 2021.
