Bree McElroy

Solicitor \ AJ Park Law Limited, Auckland

As a solicitor in the litigation team, protecting and enforcing the intellectual property rights of clients sits at the heart of what Bree does. With a diverse range of work that varies between clients, Bree works hard to help her clients navigate the ins-and-outs of intellectual property laws in Australia and New Zealand. It is through this strong work ethic that Bree ensures her clients, big or small, can reap the benefits of rightfully owning their intellectual property.

She has been heavily involved in trade mark oppositions in Australia and New Zealand. A large part of her role is helping protect the reputation and good will of her clients through opposing trade mark registrations.

Trade mark disputes can be extremely contentious, and extremely important for big and small businesses protecting the integrity of their business.

Bree's role sees her make every effort to either prevent litigation or protect her client's rights during contentious disputes.

This is my first role as a solicitor which has been an amazing opportunity to grow as a solicitor within such a successful team.

Outside of work

Bree considers herself to be very social and passionate about staying active. She enjoys outdoor activities and spending time exploring different parts of Aotearoa. Bree is also a Group Fitness Instructor at Les Mills, so spends a lot of her spare time at the gym preparing for or leading her fitness classes.
