As a paralegal for the Wellington trade marks team, Molly carries out tasks at all stages of the trade mark prosecution process. This includes filing and prosecuting applications, portfolio management and enforcing IP rights in New Zealand, Australia, Pacific Islands and under the Madrid Protocol system.
Molly is enjoying learning about the intricacies of trade mark law from her colleagues and researching client specific relations to get a fuller understanding of what IP protection and enforcement strategies will be valuable to clients.
Experience
After graduating with her Bachelor of Science in 2018, Molly began working as a trade mark assistant in the Wellington trade mark team in 2019. She is currently studying her Bachelor of Laws at Victoria University of Wellington, and was recently promoted to Paralegal.
