Are you interested in joining an intellectual property firm working with iconic brands and cutting edge technologies? As a leading IP firm with offices in Auckland, Wellington and Sydney, AJ Park helps global innovators, marketers and entrepreneurs protect and commercialise their intellectual property.
Are you looking for an opportunity to expand your horizons and experience something new, either long term or for a couple of years?
Here's your chance to relocate or return to New Zealand and enjoy a quality lifestyle in Auckland - ranked one of the world's best cities to live in!
AJ Park is recognised internationally as a top tier specialist intellectual property (IP) law firm in Australia and New Zealand. We act for a diverse range of clients from start-ups and small to medium enterprises, to publically-listed multinationals, government, and research institutes. Approximately half of our revenue is derived from our international client base, which spans some 130 countries.
We're on the lookout for an experienced patent attorney to join our Auckland patents team. Candidates will need an electrical, mechatronics, or possibly a mechanical engineering degree. In addition, you must be qualified as a patent attorney in Canada, Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia or New Zealand. Ideally, you will have 5-8 years' of post-qualification work experience.
In this role you'll work with a wide range of clients operating across a broad spectrum of technologies and sectors. Many of our clients are export focused, so require assistance in protecting and commercialising IP in a diverse range of jurisdictions around the globe. Day to day, your role will provide ample opportunity for learning, stimulation, and variety.
AJ Park has an enviable and long established track record. We are regularly ranked the top in our industry, both locally and internationally. We have over 200 staff in three offices (Sydney, Auckland, and Wellington) and are growing our services, capability and team across the region.
If you enjoy working in a supportive environment that places a strong emphasis on work/life balance, career development and growth, then this may be the opportunity for you.
