Australasia ranked one of Southeast Asia and Oceania's most innovative regions

Australia and New Zealand have been ranked in the top five of Southeast Asia and Oceania's most innovative nations, in the Global Innovation Index 2013, published by Cornell University, INSEAD, and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Australia was ranked fifth out of 16 nations in Southeast Asia and Oceania, behind Hong Kong, Singapore, New Zealand and South Korea, and 19th overall.

New Zealand was ranked third in Southeast Asia and Oceania, and 17th overall. The Index identified New Zealand as being the easiest place in the world to start a new business, which has gained us a place in the Global Innovation Index "Dream Team".
