We’re thrilled to announce that two of our partners have been recognised by their peers as being amongst the world’s best and brightest in IP private practice. Named in the WIPR Leaders 2016 publication, managing partner Damian Broadley, and Colleen Cavanagh, join the ‘leaders club’ of the world’s top trade mark lawyers.

Regarded as the leading guide to trade mark practitioners worldwide, the WIPR Leaders report conducts a comprehensive selection process over several months to identify which IP practitioners make the cut. The process involves a four month nomination period which seeks view from 12,000 IP professionals, phone interviews with industry contacts, and an exploration of the nominee’s work including their practice history, notable cases, and industry expertise. Additional activities are also taken into consideration. For example, writing and teaching responsibilities that help shape and influence IP practitioners.

AJ Park’s chief executive Pete Boyle, said ‘We operate in a global environment that is increasingly competitive and never has it been more vital than now to stand out from the crowd. We congratulate Damian and Colleen for this outstanding achievement. Both are consummate professionals who are highly regarded by their clients and colleagues. We’re particularly proud that so many of our staff are continuing to receive accolades for their leadership and contribution to the IP industry both here in Australia and New Zealand, and abroad.’
