AJ Park is delighted to announce the promotions of Jessica Tye and Dr Laura Hollingsworth to senior associate.
Both members of the Sydney office, Jessica specialises in the strategic protection and enforcement of trade marks and Laura specialises in industrial designs and mechanical and manufacturing innovations.
Before joining AJ Park, Jessica worked for intellectual property law firms in New Zealand and the United States. She has experience working with clients across a multitude of industries including natural products, cosmetics, fashion, life sciences, and fast-moving consumer goods. She said she is thrilled with the promotion.
‘I am very excited and honoured to receive this promotion. AJ Park is an exceptional firm and it is a pleasure to work with such a highly skilled and dynamic team focussed on specialised and outstanding client service.’
Laura started with AJ Park in the Wellington office in 2010 after completing her PhD in bioengineering. Her practice encompasses patent and design advice and services relating to a range of engineering technologies. Her particular specialties include mechanical engineering and manufacturing technologies, medical devices, and industrial design protection.
Laura says what she enjoys most is constantly learning about new, clever technologies.
‘I work with such a diverse range of smart clients who are often leaders in their industries. It’s a privilege to work with them and learn from them every day. My colleagues are also leading technology and legal experts and the AJ Park culture enables us to work together to achieve the best outcome for the client.'
Managing partner, Damian Broadley, is very pleased to be announcing these promotions just in time for Christmas.
‘I would like to extend a big congratulations to Jessica and Laura on these promotions. They are both doing great work for our clients and these promotions are very deserving. Jessica and Laura are highly regarded by their clients, colleagues and associates and it’s a pleasure to recognise their contribution and achievements.’
