Staying on top of New Zealand's IP

International awards and surveys continue to confirm AJ Park’s position as New Zealand’s leading intellectual property law firm in the first half of 2012.

We're ranked as the only Gold firm in New Zealand in litigation and licensing in the 2012 Patents 1000 by IAM magazine. Patents 1000 also names Matt Adams as 'number-one choice in computer science', Anton Blijlevens and Greg West-Walker as 'key figures' in the mechanical team, Anton Gibson as a 'standout' in life sciences field, and Greg Arthur and Kim McLeod as accomplished litigators.

WTR 1000 described us as a 'stalwart' in the 2012 rankings and Damian Broadley, John Hackett and Kim McLeod were named as leading trade mark lawyers.

Asialaw Profiles 2012 - guide to Asia-Pacific's Leading Law Firms, named AJ Park as the only Tier 1 intellectual property law firm in New Zealand, commenting on being the 'custodian of a mammoth share of New Zealand IP work'.

We were also acknowledged as New Zealand's leading trade mark law firm in Who's Who Legal: The International Who's Who of Business Lawyers. John Hackett was ranked in the top 10 of Most Highly Regarded in the world, while Damian Broadley was nominated as a leading practitioner.

Managing Partner Alan Potter was recently awarded Best Lawyers' 2012 Auckland Intellectual Property "Lawyer of the Year".
