IP Australia has recently been the target of malicious scam behaviours.
These include a fake online services account that changed some trade mark customers’ address for service details without consent. Immediate action has been taken by IP Australia to freeze automatic updates for address for service, while IP Australia actively investigates what further action it may need to take to limit such malicious activity. IP Australia is reinstating the original and correct address for service details for affected customers.
