We are pleased to announce the promotion of two senior associates to principal, the most senior role within the firm. The promotion of Grace Thomas-Edmond and Helen Bellchambers took effect from 1 July 2021.

These promotions reaffirm AJ Parks commitment to supporting our clients with their intellectual property (IP) requirements through ‘intelligent action’,” she adds.
Grace Thomas-Edmond
Grace specialises in commercial law with a focus on technology, IP licensing and related IP and commercial law issues. She supports a range of clients from start-ups to government agencies by providing IP strategy advice, drafting IP related agreements, such as license agreements, reseller agreements and manufacturing agreements, preparing and reviewing shareholders’ agreements, ICT and software procurement contracts, confidentiality agreements and sale and purchase contracts. She takes a problem-solving, collaborative and practical approach to her work and can identify a problem or pertinent issue and solve it. View her full profile here.
Helen Bellchambers
Helen is a patent attorney and lawyer with expertise in plant variety rights and pharmaceutical and biotechnology inventions. She holds a dual role at AJ Park working in both the life sciences patents team and the litigation and dispute resolution team. Helen uses her knowledge to develop strategic IP plans to suit her clients’ commercial objectives in New Zealand and overseas. View her full profile here.
