News  \  28 Feb 2018

The Australian and New Zealand Trans-Tasman IP Attorneys Board recently published a revised Code of Conduct for Trans-Tasman Patent and Trade Marks Attorneys 2018 (Code), which came into effect on 23 February 2018.

AJ Park welcomes the introduction of the new Code, which reaffirms the systems and processes we have in place and our approach to independence with regard to the provision of attorney professional services as part of a corporate group.

The new Code requires us to provide certain mandatory information about our practice, including our ownership structure, and provides guidance with respect to certain disclosures of client information which are necessary for us to provide our services. Full details and a printable version of this information can be found here.

As a member of the IPH Limited group, AJ Park is able to provide our clients with access to high- quality IP services across the Asia-Pacific region, attract and retain talented IP professionals and invest in technology and systems which allow us to best service our clients.
