Role type: Project Manager (Operations)

We are seeking an organised and results-oriented Project Manager to join the Operations team at AJ Park, providing project and change management across firm operations.  

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Operations (HoO), this role leads the management of AJ Park Operations projects, including discovery and business case development, stakeholder management, supplier liaison, change impact plans, managing project cadence, updating project plans and managing deadlines with workstream leads, and ensuring projects deliver on goals and to timeline/budget.

Operations Project Management

  • Support the HoO with parent company-led projects.

  • Facilitate project meetings - scheduling, creating meeting agendas and presentations, note-taking, providing timely meeting minutes, and appropriately following up on deliverables.

  • Collate additions, edits and suggestions to project progress reports from various workstreams in a timely manner.

  • Manage project risk registers and coordinate mitigation strategies with the firm's Managing Director and HoO.

  • Coordinate project KPI data collection, review, analysis, and reporting.

  • Draft, edit, and proofread project memos, correspondence and presentations.

  • Prepare and review project proposals, reports and presentations as required.

Change Management

  • Develop change management plans for projects.

  • Lead change management workstreams with a structured methodology.

  • Support the HoO with management of training plans and deliverables, and support the Training Coordinator with implementation of training for change initiatives.

  • Support development of communications relevant to change initiatives.

  • Provide change coaching to stakeholders where required.

  • Provide change reporting and other updates to management and project teams.

 Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Critical judgment, with the ability to prioritise across competing objectives.

  • Experience and understanding of the project environment, including experience with project methodologies.

  • Good understanding of change management principles, techniques and tools.

  • Effective facilitation and influencing skills.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong written, verbal, technological and interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to collect, organise and interpret data.

  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to learn other web-based applications and programs.
