Cat is a member of the Wellington trade marks team where she helps with trade mark prosecution and maintenance.
Expertise
Cat is a UK-qualified solicitor with experience across all areas of intellectual property (IP), with a particular focus on trade marks. She has worked both in private practice at global law firms and in-house within the hospitality and sporting industries, advising clients on protecting their new and existing brands.
Cat joined AJ Park shortly after relocating to New Zealand in January 2026 and is currently working towards cross-qualifying as a solicitor in New Zealand.
Outside of her legal practice, Cat volunteers as a Council Member of the British Sub-Aqua Club and has previously been a member of the IP Inclusive Women in IP Committee.
Beyond work
Outside of work, Cat enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and her golden retriever, Yennefer - especially near the ocean. She can also be found writing fiction, playing boardgames, or attending a local pub quiz.
