AJ Park hosts mock interviews for students in partnership with the Graeme Dingle Foundation

On Monday 2 September, we hosted a series of mock interviews for Aotea College students at our Wellington office. This initiative, organised in partnership with the Graeme Dingle Foundation, aimed to provide valuable real-world experience and constructive feedback to students preparing to enter the job market.

The event was met with an enthusiastic response from students who were interviewed by AJ Park staff, Duncan de Geest, Suzi Duffin, Ryan Candland, Janette by de Ley and Zoe Dewhurst. During the mock interviews, students faced a range of questions designed to simulate real interview scenarios and provide them with an environment to build confidence and share information about themselves. Following the interviews, our people sat with the students to enjoy lunch and discuss how our business works, the many facets of intellectual property and how we help clients to revolutionise industries, create global change and shape the future.

We were really impressed by the enthusiasm and curiosity of the students visiting our office. Their engagement and thoughtful questions demonstrated a genuine interest in their future careers, said Duncan de Geest, Principal and Chembio Practice Group Leader at AJ Park.

The Graeme Dingle Foundation is dedicated to inspiring young people across Aotearoa to realise potential through their school and community-based programmes. Their programmes help build self-esteem, promote good values and teach valuable life skills. As a sponsor of the Graeme Dingle Foundation, it was great to offer students a unique opportunity to refine their interview skills in a supportive and realistic setting.
