AJ Park has announced that Steve Mitchell has been appointed as the Managing Director of AJ Park, New Zealand’s leading intellectual property firm and member of the IPH Group.
Steve has over twenty years of experience in senior leadership roles across IT consulting, media, financial and marketing sectors across New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region.

Steve will be based in AJ Park’s Auckland office and joins the firm from IT Consulting firm Assurity Consulting, where he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in 2021.
Speaking about his appointment, Steve said, “I am excited to join AJ Park in this capacity. For nearly 135 years, AJ Park has maintained a strong reputation in the legal sector and upheld excellent quality client service, with a team of highly qualified IP attorneys and lawyers.”

Steve will start with AJ Park on 20 January 2026.
