This award celebrates excellence in research commercialisation delivering outstanding innovation performance and the potential for generating significant economic impact for New Zealand.
This year, there are three finalists for the AJ Park Commercialisation Impact Award:

- Nectaron®, Plant & Food Research (a group of the Bioeconomy Science Institute): Next-generation flavours brewing global success
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Shed 10 in Auckland on Wednesday 22 October 2025. AJ Park Principals Anton Blijlevens, Hadleigh Brown, and Sean Brogan will attend the event, showing their support to the broader research, science and innovation community.
