Eloise joined AJ Park’s litigation and dispute resolution team in December 2019. She assists with litigation and contentious intellectual property matters before the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand (IPONZ) and IP Australia.
Eloise advises clients on all aspects of disputes relating to all intellectual property rights including trade marks, copyright, designs, patents, border protection, parallel importing, consumer law (including the Fair Trading Act and Consumer Guarantees Act), advertising review/clearance advice, and social media.
Experience
Eloise started her career as a solicitor at Harmans Lawyers in Christchurch, where she worked for 18 months doing primarily private client work. In 2017, Eloise moved to Wellington after a brief overseas trip and joined the commercial property, infrastructure and construction team at Chapman Tripp. There, she worked for two years across a number of property matters, including assisting with a number of residential developments, managing the legal aspects of large lease portfolios and providing general property advice.
